The concept proposal envisions creating a park with a cohesive structure and clearly defined visitor scenarios. It aims to highlight the park’s cultural, historical, architectural, and natural values in an aesthetically appealing and practical way.
The park is designed as a welcoming place for visitors of all ages and social groups, where they can spend time, learn about the history and folklore of Lielvārde and Latvia, strengthen family and friend relationships, and enjoy the natural benefits of the park. The park’s vision is a long-term proposal that can be implemented in stages, depending on priorities and municipal resources. The park is designed to serve for decades, with architectural and aesthetic solutions that will not become outdated over time. The design of the park’s elements takes into account their economic justification in relation to the qualities they will provide to visitors and the overall park image.
In developing this vision, special attention was given to the fact that the territory of Lielvārde Park and the objects within it are nationally significant cultural monuments with their own protection zones.
